“ The food is both flavorful and fresh. You order at the counter and take a number of the atmosphere is casual. We picked up the chips and salsa next to the drinks. The food came out fast and hot. I loved the Al pastor crunchy taco, they make it here. There is melty cheese in the taco. Good beans too. I will return and recommend this casual restaurant. ”
“ Best taqueria in Davis. I'll save you the trouble of deciding what to order. Get the aggie taco with fish, carnitas taco and pastor taco. Finish this off with a side of lime jarritos. I think their homemade blue corn tortillas is what sets them apart from any taqueria in Davis. I wish you could sub it for any taco! Anyways cheers and congrats on your guy's success. ”
“ Great place, great food, great location. I recommend adobada tacos, vampiros and the quesa biria. But honestly everything is good. Pretty much your best option for mexican food in Davis. They cater too, which is cool. I've used them regularly for that and its always been the same quality. They support local campus clubs too. Good people in general. Can get a bit loud some nights when they're busy but that just shows how popular they are. ”
“ I got the super burrito, with lengua. The lengua was cooked to perfection, and the burrito has a good variety of ingredients inside. I also got the Concord grape cider. I'm not much of an alcohol drinker, but it was so good! I like how there's a self serve nacho and salsa station, so you can snack while you wait for your food. Lots of variety of table sizes, so if you have a larger or smaller party you can find an appropriately sized table to accommodate. Service is fast. ”
“ Back again. Love the beer selection except this time I ordered the Guava Hefeweizen but got the Guava Pineapple sour & didn't realize till later. Always love their crispy shredded chicken tacos & the chips are the best here. It was so busy! Staff is always friendly ”
“ Lunch at Guad's is always a treat and Tuesday was no different. Chicken flautas and street tacos in addition to hibiscus tea. Yum!!! ”
“ Easy spot to have lunch close to the UCD campus and the meats are good! Ordered one a La carte Crispy taco with carnitas and one soft street taco Campechano (Asada/chorizo mix, cilantro, hold the onions). Also ordered a "fountain" drink and was able to get a piña agua fresca ( also available was horchata and Jamaica) Chips and salsa bar available. Get there a bit before noon to avoid the big lines. Fast and friendly. ”
“ Right by the UC Davis campus, you can get your tacos, burritos, and torta fix. This location draws a huge crowd from locals and of course students during school, before, and after. The service here is friendly and the food comes out very quickly. Not to mention the tacos here are quite tasty. ”
“ I came here on a Sunday afternoon with a friend and ordered the Aggie Taco, an asada taco, and the super nachos with asada. He swears that Guads is the type of place that students talk about even after leaving Davis, so I figured I'd let him take me to where he wanted to go. The asada taco came loaded with meat, I was so full. One was more than enough. The super nachos were so loaded. We got a side of nachos from the bar inside and added them when we ended up being low on nachos but high on toppings. The ambiance is also really nice, the interior is kept clean and there are a lot of young people that dine inside. ”
“ Found this place was packed while walking around Davis so had to give it a try. The wait wasn't long on a Saturday night. You wait in line to order, get a number and grab a table and someone comes to deliver the food to you. We ordered: - quesabirria: the broth was flavorful and didn't feel too oily. The taco was crunchy and filled with the meat. We used the birria broth to dip the other tacos and it was really yummy! - street tacos: we got the tripa, carnitas and al pastor. The street tacos looked simple but the meat was so flavorful. They have lots of meat choices to choose from! - super nachos: loaded with generous amount of toppings especially meat, sour cream and guac! The portions are huge for 2 ppl so def recommend sharing. Overall, the place has a big selection of food and great flavors! Service was minimal but staff were helpful if you need it. I would def recommend this place for Mexican food in the area! ”
